FHA Loan Limits

With just 3.5% down, FHA is a popular mortgage option. The FHA loan limit for North Carolina and South Carolina for most counties is currently $541,287.  Also, The FHA loan limit in Alabama for most counties is currently $541,287.

 

Conforming Loan Limits and Jumbo Loans

For loans that are larger in size, Jumbo Loans are a popular mortgage option. The conforming loan limit for NC, SC, and AL  is currently $832,750. Loans over this amount would go with a Jumbo Mortgage.
